Q. I am not the primary farmer. Can I still contribute?

Q. Is this a print journal?
A. Yes


Q. Is this journal available electronically?
A. Not at this time.


Q. I like to draw. Can I be involved?
A. Yes. Please contribute print based art that fits the current issue's theme.


Q. I like to write poetry and prose. Can I be involved?
A. Yes. Please contribute poetry/prose that fits the current issue's theme.


Q. Are you looking for academic papers?
A. This journal is not strictly academic in nature due to the inclusion of art, poetry, prose and experience based writings. Additionally, papers will not be blind peer-reviewed at this time. Papers that make strong scientific claims and/or reference another person's research should be cited. The final project will be a mix of academic articles alongside art, poetry, prose, and personal experience essays.

Q. How long should an article be?
We are looking for articles ranging in length from 500-2000 words.

Q. Can I write about my experiences on the farm?
A. Yes. We are looking for writings that are observational and experience based.

Q. I do not live in MB, SK, or AB but I grew up there. Can I contribute?
A. Yes. Priority will be given to individuals who have personal experience farming in the Prairie provinces.

Q. I live right over the border in Ontario/North Dakota. Can I contribute?
A. Yes. Priority will be given to individuals who have personal experience farming in the Prairie provinces.
